Dear Batchmates of 2007 and fellow Rafflesians,

We are very shaken and very sad at Zhi Hao's sudden departure. Most of you would probably be feeling the same way too.

While we are all grieving at the loss of a wonderful friend and batchmate and being overwhelmed by feelings such as the brevity of life, unfairness, futility, sorrow, loss and pain, we would like to propose that we recall the wonderful memories of our times with Zhi Hao - in school, in class, in project groups, in CCAs, in org comms , or when we were just hanging around with him in and outside school.

Let us capture all these in a book of tributes in loving memory of Yew Zhi Hao. It will be a book of memories, tributes, photos and more, celebrating the life of Zhi Hao.

If you wish to contribute to this book, please follow the following guidelines:

- Use an A4 size paper (any texture and colour)
- Draw, print, handwrite, cut, paste (let your creative juices flow)
- Use proper language, ensure that it is a fitting tribute and be sensitive to the feelings of Zhi Hao's family
- Please contribute as many photos of Zhi Hao as possible

We will start collecting and compiling all contributions into a book when school reopens. Paul Tern is presently away on an overseas CIP journey, so in the meantime, please contact Jonathan Lim at jonathanlimes@gmail.com should you need clarifications.

Zhi Hao's parents may have lost a beloved son, but let us keep memories of Zhi Hao alive for them through this book. May this book be a source of comfort and strength for them .

WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD OF A TYPICAL BORING DAY
today was the last day of our DMP (which should not be confused with EMP, because the latter immobilizes mechanical constructs. the former immobilizes biological ones). well today i had the first period free. and since i didnt want to go for flag raising, me, merrill, thomas ang, kenneth, ewen, bentay, afew other ppl, and JINSEI (is tt how u spell it?) went to rj. to like slack off morning assembly. and as usual we met jiahan. zz ggxx

then Kimchi was kind enuff to tell us tt there was this indian teacher who would come down to the rj canteen at 740 and make the ppl there sing national anthem/ take pledge cos it was considered skipping flag raising. i tink when i go rj i go ri to skip liao >.<>

so anyway we decided to see if there was a com we cld play arnd wif. so we went to check out the com labs. and opened the door into a lesson o.0. so we tried the gep experimental room cos merrill said he broke lock. well it still managed to close... but guess wat we found outside it?! a COCKROACH. like a xx billion year old species. and we kicked it! ya lol. then i threw it into 3p HAHAHA. at jot. but nvr hit him. we screwed arnd wif it until some chi tcher came in. to cut the long story short, merrill eventually threw it out the window 0.o

ya then merrill and i go library. and merrill used REST. and i went to like read some mythology book yeah. and liddat we killed 2h. aw. here comes the fun part.

I WENT FOR BIO FIELD TRIP TO BOTANIC GARDENS. IN A CAB COS GOT NO BUS CHARTERED SO MUST PAY $$$$

ya went some new snazzy evolution garden where there were lots of old snazzy plants. from like 3.5 billion years ago. its kinda like a big park exhibit.

these are NOT plants. they are STONES. see life isnt fair at all. trees can become rocks but rocks cant become trees. these were also formed due to silica deposits. they kinda look like toadstools. tts toadstools as in mushroom- related. NOT toad stools (or faeces or wdv other synonym u have for it)

and OMG LOOK! wat a STRANGE PLANT! must be alien in nature and has since become extinct. perhaps it evolved into today's modern streetlamp tho... u nvr noe o.0

what can u infer from the source below? is it reliable and how effective is it? [6]

this source depicts 4 types of liquids in 4 differnt types of containers. they are, ice lemon tea, lemonade, ice milo and chinese tea respectively from left to right. i can infer that singaporeans drink many different types of drink. it must be reliable because theres a white old man on 2 of the cups and he's wearing a white suit and has spectacles. it is effective in tempting the unsuspecting customer to buy either one of them. i infer that western drinks > eastern drinks cos the chinese tea has no ice in it. and since it takes substantial technology to make ice, therefore west > east. as you can see, the tea is also in the background and smaller than the lemonade. i can also infer that ice lemon tea must be a composition of the 3 drinks on its right because ice comes from the ice milo, lemon comes from the lemonade, and tea comes from the chinese tea. this brings me to wonder if there is a chinese milonade or other mysterious concoction.

i disagree with what slau says.

in my opinion, there are several reasons why chelsea lost to boro.

let me state them to disprove slau's theory:

reason 1: Middlesborough were too good.

reason 2: Chelsea were too lousy.

reason 3: Chelsea and Middlesborough did not draw.

reason 4: Chelsea did not win.

These are the reasons i deem likely why middlesborough were able to halt the chelsea juggernaut.

first i shall highlight the phrase that your parents probably told u. or your teacher. or both. it depends relli. is "dont wallow in self pity". no im not gonna disprove it. its true. but on the contrary, you should drown in it.

see, its been said that when u hit rock bottom, theres only one direction to go. tts up. chances are, even after a setback, you arent at the darkest depths of despair yet. so here's your first piece of advice: when you fail smth, fail summore things. and after you have nth to fail, do them properly. then you'll get like some 100% increase (Y)

there are many practical applications for this technique. for example, if ur in pri sch u shld get some gd progress award. right? so if u fail and fail and fail and suddenly pass- you must have gd progress! then u get lotsa lotsa money $$$$

we know how it is with potentially popular blogs. so it was with yougotpenged, so it is now with wekickedyourdog.

as a recap, we obviously vividly remember the shtick we received from a certain mole, who constantly criticised and even doubted the source of our 200+ hits per day blog. (yes, i kid you not, 200+ per day). however, we withstood the wave of this tyrant, this perceived villain who was trying to obviously suck the very lives out of us.

yes of course i am over-doing it to a certain extent. our differences have hopefully now been settled. no one likes problems within a family. a rafflesian family to be exact.

but now a different kind of problem has arosen with wekickedyourdog. some PERSON who had at first chosen to use two letters to represent her name (recognise how it's always a SHE operating as the villain.) until she realised she was beratting us for doing the exact same thing, has now decided to reveal her true self.

and boy would i love to comment on that (:

yes it may be offending, yes it may be condescending, but as long as she's not in rgs yet, i have no business whatsoever with what happens to her self esteem after whatever i have said.

well we were discussing the possibilities and reasons for her status as 'going' to rgs. who 'goes' to rgs when they're 15? strange init? i think probably one of the latest was ruiyong who only came in last year and proceeded to own all the x-country runners (:

so, we thought maybe she got retained. which is quite obvious judging from the perceived assumptions and conclusions that she comes to. her intellect can't be that high. like, what can you do with extensive knowledge of computers and technology? would chengxiang be anywhere now with just his familarity with electronics? no! it was his knowledge of the sciences that have brought him to where he is now

though i'm not sure he is anywhere creditable at the moment (: haha sorry chengx dun kill me lol xD

yes retainment is obviously one of the possibilities, but another is probably her physical structure. for that, there are two possibilities.

most of us would probably be thinking that she might be a little too fat to wear the rgs uniform. the custom made rgs uniform to be exact. so for the moment, she has to go on an intense weight loss program with moses lim to shed off the extra calories so that she can at least fit into the XXXXXXXXL pinafore.

but on closer analysis, we discovered that her precious pernjie is an extremely small and puny (loser) person (loser). i was unsure whether to put the bracket before or after the noun so i decided to do both to play safe. as well as to get the point across better.

so, to be able to go out with someone as tiny and loser-ly as him, she'd have to be just as small, so we thought maybe the rgs pinafores didnt come in XXXXXXXXS sizes. so she had to go on an intense eating program with patricia mok to gain some extra calories. budden that wouldnt get her to grow vertically but force her to grow laterally instead.

well, the rest of them really aren't desirable to be posted here, so we thought that maybe if she was as brave as she appears to be, she could come ask us instead. so if you do, little miss lovesickbitch, why not just ask us why we think you're not in rgs yet? (:

omg yay first post.

i'll give an introduction... seeing as the other 2 first posts havent. basically this is sum brilliant idea for a blog by 5 geniuses and 1 faker. the 1 wld be slau who has to use cliffnotes to do well in lit test >< even after i give him the text, the questions, and my superior answers.

yea so expect of creative posts. these posts will be able to walk and are therefore not lame. like this guy:
btw, he's not in this condition cos we kicked him, although our url says so; and theres no reason to worry tt we did, so animal activists, dun lose ur sleep over us =)
